Sodium is Nasty

I've gained 5 pounds since Sunday!!!

Talk about freaking out when I stepped on the scale this morning... the only difference in my workout schedule and eating has been my supper. Both Monday and Tuesday night I've had vegetarian sushi dipped in soya sauce and wasabi! Lets be honest... there aren't that many carbs in the amount of rice in sushi, and avocado though filled with "good fat" can't be that bad... so it's gotta be the soya sauce.

I know it's only a temporary weight gain... but it's crazy to think how much water the body will retain by eating high sodium sauces or foods.

Note to self... next time I have sushi... I'm not stepping on the scale for at least a week!

For the record... this will not stop me from dipping my sushi in soya sauce... we all have to live a little!

On the plus side... once this sodium has worked it's way through my system I supposed I can expect to see some big digits on the weight loss again! There is always a silver lining to every cloud! LOL!
