DJ Lance Says "Never Give Up!"

For parents of young children... you are probably familiar with DJ Lance's song "Never Give Up!"... it has totally become my mantra (well along with Ice Cube's "You Can Do It" - obviously I have quite a diverse taste in bad boys)!

What makes me different from a lot of people is that I won't try something if I think it's not going to work (so I rarely give up... because I go into everything assuming I will succeed). I knew the first day that I worked out with Devin (2 years ago)... that if I followed what he said that I would lose weight... it would be impossible not to... the man worked me over... I was spent after the warm-up!

I originally signed up to work out with Devin 3 times a week for 6 months. After my first workout session... I honestly thought to myself "How the hell am I going to do survive this man's torture more than a week?" But I knew that I couldn't give up because my life depended on it... at the time... I was morbidly obese... so it was only a matter of time before my body started to fail... and deep down... I thought it was going to be sooner than later!

When I told my family about the exercises Devin had me doing and described the shade of purple I was at the end of my 1 hour session... my family was seriously concerned about my well-being... they were positive I would injury myself or possibly die trying to lose weight with this approach. My family has seen me fail too many times in the past... I wasn't going to fail this time (if nothing else just to prove them wrong). I can be a tad spiteful at times... hence the drama during my teen years!

After a month of working out with Devin... he made me do my "first workout" again... and it was so easy... I was so much stronger! I was totally jazzed to see how far I had come in only 30 days... and it made me look differently at bench step-ups (which I hated) and all the other unique free-weight techniques (which I also hated)... I realized it was time for this princess to just "suck it up"! Devin and Gina come up with free-weight exercises that I would have never thought of myself... we rarely used machines... and now I know why... the movements they develop for weight training actually work and help you to mimic real life movement... go figure!

Now that my family has seen the results of me working out with Devin and Gina over the last two years... they are huge advocates of 360 Wellness & Fitness. They know that because I hired personal trainers to push me along it made a huge difference between my failed attempts in the past and why I achieved such great weight loss this time.

I only started working out with Gina a couple months ago... she's become a great friend and someone that I can really enjoy working out next to (and aspire to look like). There is something about Devin's personality... he's positive... he believes in you and you just don't want to disappoint him by giving up.

Definitely having a personal trainer has helped me to "Never Give Up!"... especially during the dreaded platues or the days I just didn't want to push myself in the gym.

Personal training has definitely been worth every penny that I've paid (and more)... my personal trainers have taught me more about how to become successful then just how to lift weights... but you'll have to become one of Devin and Gina's clients to find out what I'm talking about. I believe that I'm worth investing in and I know the results I've achieved are partly due to hiring professionals!

Note: Just like the other products and services that I promote in my blog. I'm not being paid to endorse 360 Wellness & Fitness - honestly I do it because Devin and Gina are probably two of the most important people in my life outside of my family AND I completely believe they helped me save my life... so I want people to know it!
