Road Stories...
The interactions I have with people when I'm jogging are sometimes amusing...
This morning I was out for my 5km jog... the weather was nasty... I was running up a lengthy hill in the mist and fog when an elderly lady pulled up next to me in her vehicle. She asked me "Dear... do you need a drive somewhere?" I smiled at her and replied "No thanks, I'm not trying to get somewhere in a hurry... I'm exercising." She looked puzzled and said "In this weather?" and I nodded. She smiled, rolled up her window and drove away. I didn't think I looked like I was in distress... but obviously she thought I needed help! LOL! As she drove off, I laughed in disbelief that someone would pull over and offer me a ride when I was jogging.
It's experiences like this, that make me want to live the rest of my life in this community. There is no denying that our society is filled with ignorant people who don't care about others... but this lady seriously gave me some renewed faith in humanity and is living proof that genuine kindness still exists!
I have to be honest... if it was an old man that had stopped... I probably would have thought it was creepy, made note of his license plate and called 911! I'm so jaded!

Normally I don't talk to strangers in vans... but she didn't offer me candy... so I figured I was safe! That's hilarious that this has happened to you as well.
