Ice, Ice Baby!

This week I decided... I probably should ICE IT! I wasn't defying their professional advice on purpose... I just rarely sit still long enough to apply an ice pack (well I guess I could apply ice while I'm at the computer couldn't I? *rhetorical question*).
This week... I made a conscious effort to ice each night for 20 mins... now it's like my hip has been touched by the prophet... go figure (well it's 90% today anyway)! Yesterday... I even iced my hip twice... just for good measure! Goes to show... listen to the pros... they know what they are talking about!
Stairs are still giving me sharp pains and I'm certain my sprint days are numbered... at least in the short term... but at least I can jog at a slow steady pace now... lets be honest... I don't want this new booty I worked so hard to work for to fall... and I can't live without the adrenaline... and nothing quite does it... like a jog!
On that note... I'm heading out for a short jog now (a slow steady one I promise)! Brrr 2 degrees... I'm going to wear a base layer!

I have no idea... its that bony part of my hip... I'm icing it and it's feeling better. I just ran intervals for 5.5km and though I can feel there is some strain... I didn't have sharp pains... I'm going to ice it again so I can go to bootcamp tonight.
